TaT Healing List Origin
The TaT Healing List was created in honor and remembrance of one of our TaT Members, Kyla Allen-Grant. She died a couple of years ago after getting Covid. She was young, vibrant and had a heart of gold. She had just gone through TaT coach training. She was a counselor at a rehabilitation center for youth in Florida.
Kyla had been introduced to Think about Thinking through a gift of a CENTER video. She fell in love with it for herself and the youth she worked with. Her illness opened a large awareness of a essential need for a list for healing thought requests.

Kyla’s Texts (after receiving CENTER Videos and Poem):
“Thank you! Divine timing. I will hold off on trying to get back on ADHD medication and see if it can help me with focus and productivity too.
It's amazing that everything in the poem is exactly the curriculum we try and teach the boys in daily group but your way is so sweet, concise and well put in words with the added imagery!”
It utilizes, “Behavior chain, self control, gratitude and stopping to think. Switch from risky thinking to replacement thinking …And the rest will follow!”
Kyla’s TaT Endorsement :
“The Think about Thinking™ (TaT) lessons are unique in that they deliver evidence-based methods in a creative and artistic manner. The curriculum is transformative, but the delivery is foundational. It engages all senses and caters to neuro-diverse populations. The illustrations, interactions and hands on approach makes the content engaging and inclusive of all learning styles. I am a mental health and substance abuse professional working for the Department of Juvenile Justice to improve the lives of youth. TaT is a powerful tool to aid me in achieving my goal!”
